Important Installation Information:
Back Plate Coverage:
This wall light measures approximately 3.9 inches in width. Standard electrical junction boxes (J-boxes) in the US and Canada are typically 4 inches wide, which means the fixture may not fully conceal the J-box. To ensure a clean installation, a complimentary 12 cm (diameter) back plate is included to provide proper coverage. This is a design consideration rather than a defect for installations with larger junction boxes.
Optional Back Plate:
For a more minimal, streamlined look, the back plate is optional and may be omitted if preferred. If the J-box is visible after installation, the included back plate can be used to create a seamless, finished appearance and cover any exposed areas.
Driver Placement (Dimmable Version):
For dimmable models, the thyristor dimming driver or DALI dimming driver should be installed outside of the canopy to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Dimming Compatibility:
For optimal performance with the dimmable version, we recommend using a Triac dimmer switch.
